AGE RESTRICTION
Due to insurance liability issues, no one under the age of 18 will be admitted
onto the show floor.
CAMERA USE
You must have a press badge or have prior written approval to use a camera on
the show floor. If you use a camera without permission, you will be escorted
off the show floor and your badge will be confiscated.
CANCELLATION/SUBSITUTION POLICY
Full refund less a $50
processing fee if registration is cancelled
in writing prior to August 22, 2008. Half refund less a $50
processing fee thereafter if registration is cancelled in writing prior to
August 29, 2008. No refunds will be given for cancellations after
August 29, 2008. Name substitutions will only be accepted for Conference
Registrations and must be submitted in writing on company letterhead. NO
substitutions will be accepted for Exhibit Only Registrations.
FOOD SERVICE
Lunch is included in the fees for conference attendees. Lunch is not included
for exhibit only attendees or exhibit booth personnel. Concessions on the show
floor will offer sandwiches, hamburgers and hot dogs for those not registered
for the conference. Non-conference attendees also have the option of purchasing
the full lunch provided to the conference attendees. Tickets MUST be purchased
on the registration form and will not be available on-site as all lunches in
this area must be pre-ordered.
GETTING AROUND INDIANAPOLIS
Downtown Indianapolis is a walking city.
The convention center, our host hotels and a
variety of restaurants and shops are all within
easy walking distance of one another.
There is no need to rent a car unless you are
staying at one of the airport properties.
GROUND
TRANSPORTATION
Carey Indiana provides reasonable
transportation from the Indianapolis
International Airport to all COATING hotels
in downtown Indianapolis. The cost is
$12 one-way for a shared shuttle.

Indianapolis also offers public bus
transportation to/from the airport and
downtown called IndyGo Green Line
Downtown/Airport Express. The cost is
$7 per trip. Times: 5AM - 9AM
and Noon - 9PM - every 15 minutes; 9AM -
Noon - every 20 minutes. For more

Cab fare from the airport
to downtown is approximately $30 one-way.
PARKING
There are a number of parking options available
near the Indiana Convention Center. Also,
all official COATING hotels are within
walking distance of the Indiana Convention
Center and offer either valet or self parking.

PRIZE GIVEAWAYS
All paid
registered attendees (not employed by an
exhibiting company) will receive raffle
tickets making them eligible for a variety
of great prizes to be given away each
afternoon on the show floor. Prizes
will be given away beginning at 4:45 p.m. on
Tuesday and Wednesday, and 1:45 p.m. on
Thursday. You MUST be
present to win the prize so be sure to book
your travel arrangements to allow you to
stay through the close of the show on
Thursday.

SMOKING POLICY
Smoking is prohibited in the Indiana Convention Center area leased by COATING
2008. This includes the exhibition hall and meeting rooms. The Indiana
Convention Center prohibits smoking in public areas of the building except
those designated and posted as smoking areas.
SOLICITING BY NON-EXHIBITORS
Non-exhibiting companies and employees are restricted from any type of
solicitation on the COATING 2008 show floor, in conference session and in the
Indiana Convention Center.
Violators will have their badge confiscated
and asked to leave the convention center.
WHAT TO WEAR
September is a great month in Indianapolis.
Temperatures can be expected to range from 60
-70°F. We recommend business casual for the
conference and exhibition. Be sure to
bring a jacket for cooler evenings.
