HOTEL RESERVATIONS - COATING EAST 2009


COATING EAST 2009 is being held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in conjunction with the Electrical Manufacturing and Coil Winding association's show.  Reservations for COATING EAST 2009 can be made directly with the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. 

The room rate at the Gaylord Opryland Resort is $167 for a traditional room and a $10 per night resort fee.  The resort fee includes complimentary local & toll-free/credit card calls (up to 20 minutes), 2 bottled waters per room, USA Today, fitness center, complex shuttle transportation and high speed internet access.

TRAVEL INFORMATION

AIRPORT
The Nashville International Airport is the most convenient airport to the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center.   Airlines that service the Nashville International Airport are American, Continental, Delta, Frontier, Northwest, Southwest, United Express, US Airways and AirCanada.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION
The Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center is located on the banks of the Cumberland River, in the heart of Nashville, TN  just a short 10-minute drive from Nashville's International Airport. Shuttle service and car service are available from the airport to the hotel.  The world-famous Grand Ole Opry is located next to the resort, which is centrally located to every major shopping and entertainment are in Nashville.

It is not necessary to rent a car if you just plan on attending the show or visiting surrounding sites.  Taxis or shuttle service are available from the airport to the hotel.  Also, the Gaylord Opryland offers shuttle service in area attractions including the Grand Ole Opry and Oprymills.

Gaylord Opryland offers daily roundtrip shuttle service (for a fee) from the Nashville International Airport to the Hotel. Upon your arrival to the airport, you can find the Gaylord Opryland Welcome Desk on the lower level of the airport between the two escalators. An agent can assist with your travel needs and ticket purchase, or you can use our kiosk, which is conveniently located at the welcome desk. If an agent is not available to provide assistance, you can find the Hotel's shuttle located immediately to the left as you exit the front door of the lower level of the airport.

Daily shuttle schedule:

  • 5 a.m. – 11 p.m.
  • Daily express shuttle service: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. (departs every 20 minutes)

Cost:

  • $38 per person, roundtrip fare
  • $28 per person, one-way fare
    • Guests 65 and older receive a discounted rate of $25 for roundtrip fares and $15 one-way fares per person

PARKING
The Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center offers self parking for $18 per day with no in/out privileges.  Valet parking is available for $25 per day.

VISA INFORMATION
Attendees from countries that require a Visa to enter the United States are reminded that the process of obtaining a Visa may take several months.  You are strongly encouraged to plan ahead and begin the application process early.  If you require a formal letter of invitation to apply for a Visa, please email leslie@goyermgt.com the following information:

  • Address, City, State/Province, Country, Postal Code
  • Passport Number
  • Date of Birth

Your letter of invitation request will be processed within 2 business days of receipt of your complete information.  Letters will be sent via United States Postal Service and will NOT be overnighted.  The U.S. State Department website has Visa information that has additional helpful information

Getting Around Opryland
Opryland is a large sprawling facility and can be difficult to get around if you aren't paying attention.  Everything for COATING EAST will be held in the Convention Center at the back of the resort.  Ryman Hall C1 is where the exhibition and registration is located.  Conference sessions will be located in the Bayou rooms on the Mezzanine level.  Be sure to pick-up your badge at the registration desk at Ryman Hall C1 before proceeding to the conference sessions.
